Although our target population are Native Hawaiians, we help everyone. In order to access any of our programs all individuals must register for Ke Ola Mamo.

+ Is Ke Ola Mamo health insurance?

No, Ke Ola Mano is not health insurance. However, Ke Ola Mamo can help you navigate your health insurance needs.

+ I’m Hawaiian - am I automatically eligible for all services?

You can sign up to be a Ke Ola Mamo member, but each service/program has requirements. Please visit the program’s page for additional information.

+ If I cannot afford my health care bills will Ke Ola Mamo pay for it?

Ke Ola Mamo can assess your needs and find the best way to assist and refer to financial resources within your community. Please call the Client Services office in your area.

+ Does Ke Ola Mamo give monetary donations?

At this time Ke Ola Mamo does not give monetary donations.

+ How long will it take for me to get services?

Signing up for Ke Ola Mamo is instant. Depending on the program you sign up for, it could take a few days to a few weeks to get started. Please refer to the specific program for details.

+ Are all of your services free?

Although provided at low rates, each program has different program fees.

+ How can I get into the dental program?

+ Will I be able to obtain a homeless verification letter from Ke Ola Mamo?

Although Ke Ola Mamo can assist homeless individuals with referrals and linkages, Ke Ola Mamo is not a homeless entity and cannot assess for homeless verification.

+ Is there an income qualification?

Ke Ola Mamo does not have income qualifications. However, some partner agencies/services may have income qualifications.

+ Do I have to access services in my own district?

No, however the dental program is awarded based on the client’s location.
