Ke Ola Mamo
Executive Director
Ke Ola Mamo, the O’ahu-based Native Hawaiian Health Care System established under the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act of 1988, and focused on providing services and activities focused on improving the health and quality of life of Native Hawaiians, and other Pacific Island communities, is looking to fill the position of Executive Director (to start on or about October 1, 2025), who possess the following Qualifications and Characteristics:
Education:
Masters Degree from an accredited University, in one of the following areas: Medicine, Public Health, Business Administration, Social Work, Law, or related and relevant Degree
Experience:
Has 6 or more years minimum experience in the following areas:
Organization oversight and Management; demonstrated, and strong leadership in;
Fiscal/Budget Management, experience with, oversight of;
Fundraising; knowledge of and experience with Local and Federal funding sources, including Grantmaking, Management, Evaluation, and Annual Reporting
Non-profit experience, management, knowledge of and interaction with local other Non-profits, and Non-profit supporting resources;
Experience interacting with Local and National Government entities supportive of the vision of Ke Ola Mamo
Knowledge of Government regulations as it applies to Health Care systems in Hawai’i;
Familiarity with Health Care Management practices, and the Native Hawaiian Health Care Improvement Act
Assessment of staffing patterns/assignments/evaluation;
Demonstrates strong leadership, and Leadership Development;
Practice of Native Hawaiian cultural values;
Has demonstrated skills to manage multi-community sites and teams;
Experience interacting with Hawaiian communities, and supportive of community-led intiatives;
Experience working/interacting with a Board of Directors

-Fair in decision making, with no demonstration of favoritism
-Committed to promoting quality in all work, activities, visioning, and actions
